Reports LADIES' MATCHES

Billericay Ladies V Hockley ladies

A warm welcome on a warm day set the scene for this game. They were expecting 2 rinks while our paper work definatley indicated 2 triples  that was the first hurdle. However, in true bowling spirit we compromised, Hockley playing 2 woods and Billericay playing 3 woods (except skip). The green was in excellent condition, which they performed well on and so we were defeated,

rink 3 lost 9-17    rink 4 lost 15-20

The tea and cake was excellent !!!

Billericay Ladies V Ingatestone ladies

A beautiful sunny afternoon and a welcoming club made this an enjoyable afternoon of bowling. The result was one rink won and one rink lost so a draw.

Rink 1  : Penny, Catherine, Wyn  lost on the last end 13-16  (end 17 score was 13-13)

Rink 2: Michelle, Lorraine, Lynn  won 21-12

Thank you ladies for you support

Thank you to all the players and to the ladies who organised the lunch and guests who helped with putting away equipment and clearing up.
