Intro

This section contains links to the role descriptions of the Club's Committee members.
Also covered are some of the other roles that help with the Club's organisation.

To ensure that members can enjoy a game of bowls, whether in league matches, competitions or roll ups, it is essential that certain activities take place.

These activities are undertaken by members who volunteer to manage them, on behalf of the whole membership, and they may become part of the Club's Committee, function as other Officers, or simply form working parties or sub-committees.

Without people taking responsibility for particular roles, the associated activities would cease to take place.

For instance, if no one takes on the role of Competition Secretary, it is probable that the season would be without it's annual competition matches.

Committee roles last for a year and any member of the Club can be nominated for a position.

Please review the various links to see whether one (or more) would interest you and give you the chance to help with the Club's ongoing organisation.
