Reports CHELMER LEAGUE

Billericay v Chelmsford on Wednesday  3rd July at  Chelmsford
 
On a cloudy morning and on a heavy green Helen, Tracy and Val got off to a good start scoring 6 by the 5th end as opposed to Chelmsford's  2.  We continued to play well and picked up 7 lovely shots on the 12th end with the score then being 18-7.  By the 18th end the final score was 21-12 to Billericay.  2 Points gained
 
Catherine, Jean and Jenny  also had a  very good win.  At the end of  the 3rd end Billericay scored only 1 shot to Chelmsford's 4 shots but after that end it was all systems go by Billericay and Chelmsford failed to score for the next 9 ends.  By the 18th end the final score was 23-12 to Billericay.  2 Points gained
 
Another 2 points were gained for an overall win making a TOTAL of 6 POINTS for this game.  Very well done to all our ladies on both teams.

Billericay v Writtle - Monday 24th June

On a very warm afternoon Sandra, Jenny and Lynn got off to a good start picking up 7 shots by the 4th end opposed to Writtle's nil shots.  On the 5th end Writtle gained 3 shots and steamed ahead to win by 10 shots.  Final score 11-21 to Writtle.
 
Catherine, Sue S and Val had a good win with the final score being 21-13.  Well done!
 
Billericay gained 2 points as opposed to Writtle's 4 points.

 

Billericay v Falcon  - Wednesday 12th June
 
On a fair afternoon weather wise Team 1 led by Sandra  Nichols, 2 Jenny Hyland, Skip Lynn Martin had a slow start gaining only 3 shots by the 4th end but on the 5th end everything changed and the Falcon didn't pick up another shot until the 14th End when the score stood at 21-4.  On the 16th end things changed again and the Falcon picked up another 3 shots.  A well deserved win by our team the final score being 22-7. Well done Team!
 
Team 2 led by Gill Aggio, 2 Michelle Dixon and skip Val Dalton.  At the end of the 7th end the score was even at 6 all but from then Billericay only gained 1 more shot finishing on the 18th end with a final score of 7-23 to the Falcon.  Keep going ladies!

Team 1 got off to a slow start only scoring 2 shots by the end of the 10th end against RHP's 14.  However the team  were encouraged after scoring 2 on the 11th end and by the final 18th end gained another 9 shots making the final score 13-19 to RHP.  Well done team for making a good recovery.
 
Team 2 started well scoring 3 shots on the first end.  7 more shots were scored by the 7th end and we picked up another 6 shots on the 8th end. The team continued to play steadily and on the final end the score stood at 27-14 to Billericay. Well done team.
 
For our first league game of the season Billericay scored 4 points overall.
