Welcome to the Billericay Bowling Club

Billericay Bowling Club is based in the beautiful park here in Billericay known as Lake Meadows. Our six rink lawn grass green and clubhouse is owned and maintained by the local Council. Click here for location/ directions.

Our club is open to men and women of all ages and abilities and currently the membership consists of approximately 70 men and 30 ladies.
To suit individual requirements, social bowling e.g. roll ups, club morning and friendly matches against other clubs are available.
For the more competitive players, local leagues and competitions at club, county and national level are available.

The summer season commences 1st May and finishes late September.
However playing can continue, albeit with indoor friendlies, and there are several indoor clubs in the area where you can maintain your interest and skills.

We are constantly seeking new members so, if you are interested, please visit our recruitment page.

Web site review

The main response to the survey was that there is a need to communicate as much information that is easily generated and does not require too much repetitive effort.
It was apparent that the website should be a very useful medium alongside the need for a strong clubhouse/noticeboard centre of activities especially for those not into internet etc.
Additions are under review.

2014 Presentation Lunch

A Note for your Diaries.
The 2014 Presentation Lunch will once again be held at Stock Brook Manor.
It will be on Sunday 16th November 2014 and the cost will be £28.50 per person.
There will be some variety to the menu this year but choices will have to pre-ordered.
A little more work for the organiser but with Members help this should not be a problem.
