Welcome to Billericay Bowling Club!
We are a friendly lawn bowls club based in Billericay, Essex.
We have a six-rink green and club house in Lake Meadows Park, with ample parking nearby.
We have close to 100 members and offer the opportunity to take part both in social bowling and competitive league and friendly games against clubs in Essex, as well as a number of internal competitions which are open to all members.
Our season runs from 1st May to 30th September each year and during the closed season, we try to arrange a friendly indoor match each month against a local club.
We welcome new members of all ages and levels of experience and usually hold an open day early in May each year. Please visit our recruitment page for more information.

We request that you wear bright colours in accordance with Chris’s wishes. Note, as the weather is predicted to be very hot on Friday, please ensure you stay hydrated, and feel free to bring a change of clothes for after the service so that you can be comfortable in the heat.

Charity Fun Day - 22 August 2026
Billericay Bowling Club are holding a Charity fun day on 22 August 2026. Our President, Jenny Hyland, has chosen for the funds raised this year to be donated to Cancer Research UK.

Match Invitations
Each year we receive invitations to matches and events from other clubs.
Members interested in entering a team should make their own arrangments using the entry forms provided.

Coaching Team
The club has qualified coaches ready and willing to coach either face to face or in small groups of members.
Coaching is FREE to members and remedial help and feedback can be requested at any time during the season.

This is a cashless and ticketless system. Pay with the MiPERMIT parking app, by phone or by card at the payment terminal.
(Note: If using the MiPERMIT app, you will be charged an additional fee of 20p per session.)
Charges apply on all public holidays EXCEPT Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Easter Sunday
